Parents, guardians, relatives or another responsible adult can register a player. Players aged 18 and over can register themselves.

Submit the form. You get a reference number straight away.
Officials are notified. The treasurer contacts you to confirm payment.
Come to your session. Bring the reference number and water.

Privacy notice

237 Basketball Academy Thika collects the details on the registration form to run the camp: to place players in age groups and sessions, to confirm payment, and to reach a responsible adult in an emergency. We handle this data in line with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, on the basis of the consent you give on the form.

Only the club's office bearers can see registration details. They are kept in a private Google Sheet. Google stores this data on its servers, which may be outside Kenya, under its own security and data protection commitments. We never publish, sell or share registration details with sponsors. Health notes are used only for player safety. Photos are published only where photo consent was given.

When you register, the office bearers get a short email with the registration reference, the player's first name and initial, age group, plan and fee. Contact details and health notes are not in that email; they stay in the sheet. If you give an email address, we may send you a receipt. Office bearers delete these emails after the camp.

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which also runs the security check on the form to stop spam. To do this Cloudflare processes technical details such as your IP address and browser information, possibly outside Kenya, under its own data protection commitments.

We delete registration details about 14 months after you register and keep only anonymous totals. You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw consent, by calling the secretary on one of the numbers above. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).
